RZ 350 pistons

Recommended Posts

Hi guys , does anyone know the standard size of the rz 350 pistons, and is it possible to swap banshee pistons into an rz motor?

Does the rz 350 motor differ from the rd 350 motor?

I know this is a very stupid question but i dont know anything about this kind of stuff...

Please help banghead

RZ350 have a 64mm bore just like a Banshee and in fact the Wiseco catalog says the 513 series piston is the standard piston for both the Banshee and the RZ350. It should also fit the RD350LC and/or YPVS motors, HOWEVER I do not know about the RD350 air cooled motors.I just looked at Wiseco's site the aircooled motor is a 64mm bore with a 54mm stroke,BUT it takes a 393 series piston- I believe they have a different rod length and/or deck hieight, maybe squish angle is different.

Thanks for the input guys, so the heres another question are the rd350lc and the banshee motor basically the same, and will banshee vforce3 reeds fit a rd350lc without modifications.

Thanks again

RD350LC and RZ350 motors have a wide ratio tranny and powervalves in the exhaust port, and autolube pumps, tach drives, and speedo drives. Banshees don't have powervalves so they can have a bigger water jacket for better cooling, and they have a close ratio tranny for off road. Those are the major differences. The reeds SHOULD fit.
