I NEVER EVER said it was ok for Wiseco to sell a Taiwan wristpin. Hence my reason to rant about the problem on here to alarm others and have them pay attention to their assembly, for a incorrect wristpin length. What made you think I said it was ok for Wiseco to sell Taiwanese wristpins? I have no problems with the Japanese rings that came with the pistons. Heck I would have had no issues with the Taiwanese wristpin, had the length been right. But I had to perform a lathe operation that should not have needed to be done on my end. The manufacturer should have had it right the first time.

FYI Snap on has opened it's largest factory in their company history in China... Those Snap-On/Bluepoint tools are rarely American made, and haven't been for quite a while.

If ya but blue point ya might as well buy craftsmen

Shit, i use f'n harbor freight wrenches, and have a harbor freight tool box, shit works fine....if you're snapping sockets...it's probably to tight.. i can't think of any time i've broken a socket working on a banshee, or any ATV for that matter...i have some cornwell tools i bought when i was younger working on transmissions but for the most part, most of my tools are craftsman and junk from harbor freight... they don't give me to much of a fit

I've split a number of craftsman sockets and SK sockets. And a bunch of craftsman ratchets. I've never broke a snap-on or matco socket before. There is a difference. At any rate it was just an example, but carry on......

Yep and why do you think the Craftsman ratches have short handles, and coars teeth. So when you put a cheater on it the warrenty is void and they dont have to replace it. Nothing like haveing a junk ratchet that you have to move 1/8 to 1/4 of a turn just to get it to ratchet.

haha....the sears near me has never once even looked and made a comment on any hand tools ive taken in. last 1/4" drive i took in was cause it would randomly flip over from tighten/loosen on its own and got annoying......walked inand they said "here ya go"....out the door i went.

On another note i've also watched someone put a wrench in a vice and cut it in half cause the box wrench was too long.......he took it back to sears and the guy said "this didn't break.....it was cut".....buddies dad looked at the guy and said "customers always right.....your shitty wrench broke and busted my knuckles" (he had slipped ealier and given himself a kinuckle buster) dude wanted to argue more but just handed over a new box wrench....

I assemble a lot of motors monthly... I have got at least like 4+ to long wrist pins from Wiseco...

Then yet again, I just said this on another forum, I have had Wossner piston with to long wrist pins also, there is the same thread on CR500 forum about wossner pistons... They are made in GERMANY....

This taiwan threads are getting bored....

If a Ford fails do you say Americans suck?

If a BMW fails do German cars suck?

If toyota engine fail 1 out of 1000 does Japan suck? I am just trying to make a point...
