Building a new Duner.

Recommended Posts

So after some Tomfoolery with a 450 I am back on a banshee. That being said it does not stack up to my old cub. I feel like I want a stock cylinder something. I've read up on 4 mils and stock stroke builds. I want this bike to be a wheel speed machine. I am thinking a hot dune port, pt mids, bored stock carbs, VF3s, Lockout, not sure of gearing. This will be a dune only bike. What are opinions of others on the board? Am i goiing to be happy with a stock stroke? What gearing should I be running? Right now it is super over paddled with 10 paddles extremes 72 RO. I want the bike to be super responsive will take any opinions.

Took my 4mill serval out to the dunes and it did great!!! 35pwks +4 timing vf3's rocket pipes and I had a +6 swinger. It ran the dunes like a champ and it ran the trails at little Sahara with ease. It did shit tons better than it did the year before with just pipes and k&n filter. And I don't have any port work done on my serval yet
