Ieat4strokes
I've had my F.A.S.T. Drag motor together around 3 years now, was at the dirt drags yesterday and it would pop out of gear. I got about 20 cleAn passes out of it and then it started. It will engage fine and once I leave the line it'll pop out in the top of first or second. Not every time but 70% just wondering if it could be forks bent or if Tranny is shot? Tranny is a N down 1-5 dunable override that I got through Dave. It's been a great tranny. Surfrjag
The edges of your dogs may be rounded. Your gonna have to tear it down and inspect it. Racing at only 70% isnt as much fun.
Ieat4strokes
Nope, especially when money is on the line. Guess I'll tear it down
sheerider1026
More than likely the shift forks are ground down thin.
Ieat4strokes
That's what I was thinking. Either ground down or bent. Does anyone make any upgraded forks? Hardened etc?
sheerider1026
Id say after they grind down so thin the will bend pretty easy. U can get billet forks but they are $$$$
