erickc23
I got a 2001 Banshee that ran great for a week, then stopped dead. Locked up tight. I opened it up to find both the pistons busted all to hell and the cylinders badly scratched. The cylinders are now at 65.5mm so I don't think I can bore them out enough to save them. I don't have much $$$ to put in to it. So what is my next step to get it going cheap? Thanks for helping !!
sheerider11
It doesn't hurt to try and save them. Take them to a reputable shop. It anything stock jugs come and go here all the time. I got mine for like
Starwriter
How much is "not much $$$"? If you think you're going to get this running reliably for $200, sorry, but it's not gonna happen. You definitely need to split the cases to get all the chunks out, and more than likely you're gonna need a new crank. If you don't have at least $700 to dump into it, there's no point in even taking it apart.

erickc23
I know I'll need to split it and clean it all out really well. How can I tell if I need a new crank? If it doesn't look damaged is it good to go?
Nightmare
Set a budget of $1000
sheerider11
Send the crank to get checked and you might be able to save it.
