94BANSHEE Posted June 14, 2012 Author Report Posted June 14, 2012 If you have all brand new chain guides and rollers then what would the extra advantage if any of getting this? Quote
sheerider11 Posted June 14, 2012 Report Posted June 14, 2012 It seems good for guys that have extended swing arms. Like anything over 6". Quote
robert0762 Posted June 14, 2012 Report Posted June 14, 2012 I needed one when i had my stock carrier and changed sprockets . I could not get a good adjustment it was either too loose or too tight so I ran it loose with the tensioner and it worked fine. Quote
94BANSHEE Posted June 15, 2012 Author Report Posted June 15, 2012 Ah so they arent really needed for a stock swingarm since the chain isnt that long? Quote
sheerider11 Posted June 15, 2012 Report Posted June 15, 2012 Ah so they arent really needed for a stock swingarm since the chain isnt that long? I didn't say that, but on my street bike I have a extended arm and the bottom is always loose, even under a load. On my banshee I never really noticed. But I can see the benefit of having it and it doesn't seem like a boost bottle gimmick. Quote
lms1977 Posted June 15, 2012 Report Posted June 15, 2012 I put one on my quad with a +6 it bent all up in a few hrs bottomed out on rocks. It seemed like a great product for normal trails but the ones that are real rocky I would be worried the wheel on mike got caught. Quote

It clearly explains both ways in the instructions he sends you. I mounted mine with the higher clearance and have had no issues even after bottoming the frame out on shit Quote
