No link rears will typically use more charge... I've never used a no link rear.. but from what i've seen they're anywhere from 800-1200 rider weight, arm length and valving play a part in this.... its not going to be the same for everyone since setups and preference is different. VERY quick, your looking to release as little air as possible. You can do that until the shock is where you want it. only do one tap at a time. tedd1 Posted June 10, 2012 Report Share Posted June 10, 2012 I run a +12 no link with a Shaw. Usually set @ ~1500 psi. I am 200+ lbs. Bike is 250 lbs. I run a zip tie on the shaft and keep the pressure set so I get ~1" of action. If it gives too much, you will lose the weight transfer needed for traction.
