locogato11283
If ya'll are so dedicated howcome you guys dont make the trip out to the west coast???? You guys scared of riding some actual dunes or what??? I'm so dedicated I make the BansheeHQ Ride in October every year. You don't hear of the midwest guys ditching out on the rides. That's a northwest thing.

BUILDER
Really have no idea why it is so hard to get people out here to commit to a date and actually show up. You guys in the midwest get toether and drive lots of miles to do it but that is pretty much your one big ride for the year. Not saying you do not ride other times just saying that is you big one. Out here we have Sand Fest in July Dunes Fest in Aug plus I ride the dunes at least once every month usually twice.

That's a northwest thing. Convenient when its only about 375 miles from where you live, thats close to the same distance as it is from my house to Florence, Oregon. Make the almost 2,0000 mile trip out to Coos Bay and then I'll believe your dedicated. You guys bag on the "pacific northwest" people but your not the ones making a 2000 mile trip to go ride, not trying to start a big ol debate here just saying its a long fucken ways to LS. You mid west guys are missing out, there are 3 good dune areas that are within an hour of eachother here and each spot offers a different riding style, plus you get the nice cool breeze comin off the ocean for comfortable riding I would love to try and make it to the HQ ride at LS but right now financially I cant do it, I'm starting a new job July 16th @ Boeing so maybe I can justify going next year. DirtDiggler69
If I can get free from the clutches of the Mrs. I'll go , I'm already going to dunefest for a week , so taking off again so soon may be a grounds for sleeping outside ( Not that I mind , but I prefer to sleep on sand its softer than my front yard ) . I'd like to make it though , I'll see what I can do .

I sure want to see and ride Glamis , and LS but damn , I gotta take 2 weeks off work to make a trip like that happen and if I want as much riding time as possible I gotta do a cannonball run and get there in 30 hours so I feel like the trip was more ride and less drive . With Oregon , Utah and Idaho so close , it makes it hard to pull the trigger on a longer trip , but I'd so do it with the right amount of prep time , it just means I'd have to cut out my Oregon trips , and getting out to only ride a couple times a year sucks , I want to hit it every month .... Sadly it just doesn't work out that way

The hq ride would be cool just to meet new people and see alot of peoples setups from here in real life. This year has sucked for me due to my financial situations and other hobbies, I havent rode at all yet this year and not sure when I will get to. I usually hit the Oregon dunes about 2-4 times a year so I am like dieing since I havent got to go yet this year. Me & the wife want to start traveling so maybe well have to save up for the trip out to LS for the HQ ride.

RC418
Might work better if you try to plan it a ways out, that way if people from farther away want to come they have time to plan or save up money. If u did it next year I would come for sure.
hp2000
Maybe get Tyler and his crew to organize it. I bet more people will follow them and make it an actual BHQ ride..
DirtDiggler69
Well I'll be rockin my BHQ SWAG at Dunefest and snappin pics of all the festivities so all my HARDCORE PNW Brothers who can't make it will have evidence that Banshee's still live and breathe out here ... n2otoofast4u
Best idea EVER! Leave the slow idiot eastern people on their side of the country and us fast western people will stay on ours. Problem solved and we don't have to deal with the knuckle heads!
