Coolant in my cylinders

Recommended Posts

In my experience and from what ive seen others experience oem is the only way to go unles you go mls or cometic.

I had a k&s head gasket on mine that leaked.Swapped in an oem and leak was gone the weirdest part was they looked identical.Guess looks can be decieving.

Thanks for the the replies guys. Just not sure what I need to do to get the coolant out of the crankcase. Do I have to split the case? I really need to buy a clymers for it.

If theres a descent amount of coolant in the crank case you will have to pull the jugs i would think to get it out.On my rm250 i had to take a syringe with some fuel line on it and sucked it out like that.It was the first time doing a topend on that bike nad thought i had the coolant drained all the way but didnt.

Outside of that id say pull the motor and dump it out.
