need to know your size motor and mods. maybe someone that runs 1/8 will chime in after you post up your mods.

motor = stock

I have Toomey T5 head pipes and the silencers but i need the jet kit to put them on. THEY ARE NOT ON THE SHEE YET.

I also have a k and n air filter, Boysen reeds and I'm pretty sure they are the stock reed cages. The very first upgrade i want to do is the sprockets to optimize my gears in the 1/8Th mile. I have heard that a lot of ppl take off in 2Nd gear or maybe that is just in the sand. I am just starting out and i only plan on racing at our local test and tune style No E.T. at milan dragway.

Why not run an 18?

I've got a set of 18x9.50x8 Slicks that only weigh 12lbs mounted on .125 Douglas Wheels. Doesn't get much better than that.

The less rotating weight the better, its not like you can't adjust your sprockets to compensate for different tire sizes

thats why i use 18"

front sprocket go's up to 20-front..33-rear so you got plenty room with sprocket change
