01shee350 Posted May 31, 2012 Report Share Posted May 31, 2012 (edited) just baught a 01 banshee and it needed alot, got everything cleaned up and need help on jetting recently rebuild 64mm stock NOT ported, stock timing fmf sst's and powercore 2 silencers v3 reeds k and n pod filters(new) stock mikuni 26mm carbs worthless white bros boost bottle on stock manifolds 32:1 mix ratio with 91 octane Las Vegas, elevation 2000ft. temp 80-110 on average its currently running 280 mains, 25 pilots, stock air jet, stock needle 3rd position, air screw 1.5 turns out at the moment its not running so cant actually find out if its running correctly, when i got it plugs were really black, but then again the carbs were so dirty and slides installed backwards, float needles stuck. but just wanted an opinion on what u guys would recommend. i just baught 30 pilots but is that to big? erickson483 Posted June 1, 2012 Report Share Posted June 1, 2012 I'd say 27.5 pilots witj 1.5 turns on the air screw would be pretty close. Mains I would go 300 to be safe and do a plug chop.
