fuller1986
went out riding this weekend for the first time since i have rebuilt my shee, and all i can say is wow, now i know why everybody is so obessed with banshees there fuckin insanely fun to ride. so thanks for all the help in the past to get it running and any advice on this problem would be great. basically i ran one tank of gas threw it, on my brand new build and parked it outside it rained to beat hell and went to go ride the next day and would only fire on the left side. Im running 2 into 1 intake so i know its not a carb issue just wondering if there is any connectors that could have gotten wet or whatever. erickson483
Swap your plug wires and see if the problem moves to the other cylinder. Pull the stator cover and make sure it didn't get wet.
fuller1986
that was the wierd thing i swapped the plug wires and the right side came back but only for a few seconds then went out again, so i guess im a little confused
04zSpittinKlotz
Try throwing some new plugs in it and see what it does. also kick it over a few times with the plugs out, you may have got some water in there ... probably through your air filter??? fuller1986
i dont think i got water in it because both sides have ran so it would have cleared any water out
erickson483
If you are sure water was the culprit, is there a chance rain got into your tank? Do you have a vent tube on your cap? Just throwing out ideas
thomas h.
I had issues like that but it was my float levels
vulvafan537240
sounds like the plug wire to me. it fouled the left plug, then when you swapped it to the right it ran for a few secoonds, then fouled the right plug.
fuller1986
im not sure what kind of coil and wire set up is on it, it is blue and looks cheap along with the wires, and yes i do have a vent tube but it is tucked under pretty well and it is a brand new clarke gas tank that has had one tank of gas ran through it so i dont beleive water got into it, and once again only having one carb i think it could only be a spark issue, but i did backfire a few times so im going to pull my reeds to make sure i didnt crack one, and then problably call brandon at wildcard and get a coil and wires, any advice as far as nology or oem coil and wires
