Yeah I have the alba long travel arms

My stock shocks are completly fucked so time to replace them

These 2 brands above are equally priced

Just wasn't sure if one was better/worse then the other

Or any options for the $1000aud mark

Bike doesn't get used enough to justify huge $$ on shocks

I have the long travel Alba's as well. I recommend Fox Float Evols hands down they are top notch shocks and extremely versatile. I will say there equal to a set of Axis shocks but better than Elka's. You will need a 17" shock eye to eye in order for it to properly be setup. Here is a picture of mine already setup. On a side note I will be selling these shocks for $650 shipped if you interested.

Buy those floats before someone else does. Those are the best choice of all that were mentioned, and priced right! You can can them rebuilt for 125 if they need it and for another 100 bucks you can upgrade to the Kashima coating. I have 20.5" long travel floats on my R and they are by far the best shocks I've ever owned. I finally took the time this spring to properly set them up and they are second to none.

PM returned

Yes the floats are little more expensive than the works shocks but about the same price range as Elka Stage 4's which not to many people have. For the rear shock I would just have your stocker revalved for your weight and riding style.

pm sent re fox shocks

arnt the fox floats/axis a fair bit more expensive then the elka/works shocks ?

do you guys get the matching rear?

or just revalve ect

thanks for the help
