ticktock
You have to be fucking kidding me. Back story: Sold cylinders on eBay, shipped cylinders overseas. Cylinders cleared Spain customs 4 days after shipping. Buyer hasn't picked them up. Buyer opened claim against me because he has not picked up. Called PayPal and worked it out on the phone. I was informed that a notice was sent the buyer so that he could pick them up. He has not picked them up and soon they will more than likely be sent back to the states where - guess what - I don't live anymore lol. But I did find a new website to track items overseas using the custom form. Here is proof I sent something. Yes I know it could be dogshit in a brown paper bag. http://www.track-trace.com/post enter CW175178645US So they pulled money from my account to cover the cost. It's prolly coming back to me. Fucking fags. Adam

See as my story goes on. The buyer asked me to say the part was only worth 50$ so that he would not have to pay very much tarrif. So I insured for 450$ and the postal clerk said that insurance would only cover 50$ if something happened. So I changed to meet the selling cost. When I told the PayPal guy he said Hrrm that's interesting. Either way he said that PayPal would sent a message stating to pick up the package. Rotax Raptor
I went through a similar situation and filed a dispute against the buyer. In an email I listed all of the chain of events and the eBay policy of the buyer entering a contract to pay for the item agreed upon. I claimed the part came back unusable and they finally ruled in my favor. EBay put my money back in my paypal account and went after the buyer. It took about a month but worth it. Since eBay owns paypal, they can make it happen if you're persistent and keep escalating it through their chain of command.
Glenyboy
It's unbelievable the things people do these days, it just ruins it for honest people like myself. Banshees are not too common over here and good parts even more uncommon, theres been many un returned pms about parts I'd of gladly bought. Thankfully there are some good guys on here who will go out there way to help someone out. But the whole scamming thing is a joke!! Oh yeah jeff do I still qualify for one of your covers? It's the next thing on my list!!

dajogejr
On ebay or any forum, I simply will not ship to a foreign country. Not worth the time or headaches. The best ones are when someone from another country asks you to ship to a customs or clearing house in NYC...etc. Scammers...they're everywhere.
