Dave G
Hey guys....quick question. I have stock headlights on my Shee....and they are pretty dim. Anyone know if I can replace them with H1 or H3 (55w) bulbs without burning up the stator or regulator? Has anyone done this already? Thanks again! So Cal Suspension
zilla (for once) is right. a 55w bulb will actually be dimmer than a 35w bulb. The stock stator puts out roughly 75-77 watts total on the lighting circuit. Stock replacement bulbs are h6m, btw
Chip M
use 35 watt, 55 watt is too much for a stock stator to handle. also the banshee is H6M bulbs something like this would work http://www.ebay.com/...r#ht_627wt_1163 Thanks for the link!!. Helps me out too

Wassup350
I just put some 35w bulbs on and they are dim unless y ou run only one bulb. The box says 75w on it as well so I'm thinking that may be to much. I'm wondering if it has something to do with I have a 87 and the bulbs are for a newer machine. Below is the link to the bulbs I got URL: http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&id=270954377814

All years have the same output stators stock. You should be able to run 2 35 watt bulbs no problem, if the box says 75w on it then I think you have 2 75 watt bulbs, not 2 35 watt bulbs. Wassup350
On the Ebay add it stated that they were 35W but on the packaging it says 35/35W up 75/75w, the bulb it self just says 12v 35/35w so I'm a little confused
guns4children
Go to rmatv and get the tusk bulbs. They are 10 bucks a piece and well worth it.

Meaning, it's a 35w xenon bulb equivalent to a 75w halogen bulb. It only draws 35w. You got the right ones.
DirtDiggler69
Do you have the switch set to low beam or high beam?
sheerider1026
Is it the stator that supplies the voltage for lighs???
