The VITOS advanced timing key is like $25.. It won't kill your wallet. And if it does, look at the DIY timing plate mod thread. It is in the tech section.

Using the key is a POOR way of changing your timing. You are far better off either modifying the stock timing plate or buying an aftermarket plate that will let you change your timing in a manner that you know how much you changed it.

ya get the timing plate can get em pretty cheap around 45 bucks better in the long run. or mod your own
