turner86
i bought a 1998 banshee this is my first banshee i did a rebuild on the top end and rebuilt the carbs it starts but when i put it in gear and let off the clutch it wont move with the bike off i put it in gear and push it you can feel the clutch dragging and ideas on how to fix this other than buying a new clutch
Jereme6655
Want to explain that again? Because you are describing that when you have the bike shut off and put the bike in gear with the clutch out......it won't roll....which is correct. Even if the clutch is pulled in and it's in gear and you can feel it drag does not mean that it is wrong.....a lot of them do that.
turner86
The clutch works when I put the dike on a stand the clutch grads and works fine but if I have it on the ground it won't move under its own power
turner86
but if the bike is off i can still push it in gear but the clutch seems not to be engaging fully

Larry's Shee
somewhere on here is linc to download manual. What kind of oil did you put in it?
guns4children
Look at your case. On top should be an arm where your clutch cable goes into. Make sure the point on that arm lines up with the point on the case.
