turbowrenchhead
So day three owning my first banshee. I pulled the drain plug and dropped the oil and its creamy white colored. So its either a jug gasket or a jug right? After its all fixed the $900 purchase price is going to be small compared to the fixes. sheerider11
Or the water pump seal,or the o ring that goes there to the clutch cover.
Finch
my money is on the seal or just old oil
Josh Z
water in there... change it. run it for a min, then flush it like 2-3 times... if it is still milky you have a leak
turbowrenchhead
I'm tempted to pull the motor and replace all the gaskets and reseal the cases. Port my cylinders while I'm at it.
turbowrenchhead
Whats the quart capacity?
maskmanLS6
Whats the quart capacity? Quart capacity is 1.5 and you dont screw the stick down to check the level. your problem is probably the o ring on the coolant tube that goes through the clutch cover from the water pump. Zwiser
Im betting on the water pump seal... while your in there put a billet impeller and a pancake bearing.
Larry's Shee
I'd run and flush with cheep ATF. If it's still real milky after 2nd try, do the pump seal and tube O-ring. I'd save the port job until winter, it's time to ride NOW !!

I'd save the port job until winter, it's time to ride NOW !! I know! lol. I have two atv trips coming up. This memorial day weekend, but thats for the whole family which is going to be a very slow paced one. My 7 year old son likes to put at 5mph. So the shee won't be a good machine to take. However I have a all guys trip on June 14th that I would like to take it with for. There's going to be another shee there. A 250R Honda atc. Possibly a raptor 660, a yfz 450. So yeah I want to be able to compete.
