Uf21
With the 916s I installed the headers and stingers are touching the frame. Is this right and is it ok?
bluebanshee98
you may be able to move it a hair. i dont have any personal experience with that exhaust but my shearer stingers touch my frame and its fine. just make sure an part of the exhaust is not touching any wires cuz they will melt
Larry's Shee
The stinger is probably ok but I would try to get the chamber off the frame. Loosen everything up, put some washers behind mount to space it out a hair.

wacko2000
Wow those fit like shit You don't want anything rubber or touching so space everything accordingly!! Joe
Uf21
So is there a downside of it touching the frame? I am going to space it out but was curious if it would pose a problem!?
350skabarat
I rate it will viabrate and after a while it will wear through the pipe and make a hole. Ya and it will scratch the chrome off and if you wana sell them it cause you some problems
wacko2000
There no reason why you should leave it like that- space everything till its clear and thats all Why would you want the pipes rubbing the frame and possibly causing a problem- metal on metal rubbing and vibrating on eachother is gonna lead to a issue Your going to dent and ruin your pipes! Just make up some small spacers or just use some washers! But I'm thinking, and my buddy runs these pipes and they seem to fit a lot better, he doesn't have any rubbing issues!
