Infamous039
That would be official Brandon, its definitely something to consider. we have ultralight caliper mounting brackets. Maybe I could modify our program to accept a yfz or 250r caliper ect for those who want a dual piston caliper. -Brandon
BB3
i have taken many front yfz calipers and re-doing the brackets for mounting it to the rear. If brandon can make ya some plates that would be the best bet.....i it works well with the yfz fronts.

Coupelx
I think the answer is 80% of total stopping power is front brakes. Thats actually a question on your MSF riders course test. Does a dual piston caliper really add that much potential? I mean, touching the back brakes really just locks them up anyways. Adam needs moar clamp during brake fade! and to ditch the postage size brake pad
NickisGod
ill try one more time. i ask you to please pay attention read this link!!!! http://bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=128874&st=0&p=1112690&hl="dual%20piston%20caliper"&fromsearch=1entry1112690 the right front yfz caliper is a good idea. i must admit, but what people have to realize a site sponsor isnt going to spend thousands of dollars developing a braking system for a atv thats not in production anymore especially seeing as yamaha and honda already developed better braking technology that can be easily adapted to fit a banshee. I hear what you sayin about r&d but what I am looking for is somthing exactly like what you did . I'm looking for a bracket that will allow us to bolt up the yfz caliper without chopping it up . I do like the smaller disk idea for clearance though . Edited May 6, 2012 by robert0762
locogato11283
This is very simple. Someone design the bracket and send it to JD and let him laser cut it. JD has laser cut all kinds of custom shit for me. Done deal.

Only thing i see is you get a better caliper but a smaller rotor with less swept area. doesnt seem like its worth the hassle either. Get out a piece of steel plate and make one. not like it needs to be anything special. draw it out on some cardboard and revise until you are satisfied. i did this when i converted the rear of my car to disc brakes. take the initiative on it.
