Pod filter

Recommended Posts

12 years, K&N pods the whole time on 3 different machines. 2 total top ends and it was just to freshen things up. And trust me I ride in some of the dustiest shit around and puddles. Just put some outerwears and clean the filters often. It's easy.

X2 :headbang: K&N FTW!

My slides are clean every time I inspect them. I even put a dab of white lithium grease on the inside edge of the filters to see if anything makes it into the filter. The grease always looks good as new. :shrugani:

I just bought a uni-pod and it is a real K&N with a outer wear. It looks like it needs to be mounted inside the filter box obviously with the lid off. Bought this by mistake because everyone keeps calling them uni-PODS. So I bought the K&N RU-0210 (individual pods) to run with no air box. Not sure which way to go yet? Can get them both on e-bay.

UNI FTW!!!! There's no better motor protection than a UNI and a Outerwears wrapped around it . K&N is inferior to the all mighty UNI!!!!!

uni filters are a great filter!! i ride in the coal region witch gets real dusty!!! so dusty you cant see 10ft in front of you!! i found that for me uni filters are the only filter that keeps the shit out!! sure k&n's work good if your in front of the pack..but to anyone that thinks there are the best filter, come ride where i ride and follow 6-15 screaming banshees kicking up all the dust.. at the end of the day pull the k&n's off and take a peak inside your carbs.. you just might change your mind about K&N filters!!

If you go to the uni filter site , they list all of their universal pod filters by size . Measure the inlet ( outside diameter ) of your carb , and find it on uni's site . Just match up the part number and you are good to go.

Ive ran K&N on every car, truck, motorcycle, quad, dirtbike, we used them on sprint cars and never had a problem. I also run coal. Sorry Buckeye if you not of had luck them them but my shit is always clean. Im running the knockoff K&N's now and even those seem alright. :shrugani: .
