gioburk
I'm contemplating to purchase the chariot performance 2 into 1 intake kit. Just want to know what carb to get. my motor has stock crank, 66mm pistons, boyesen reeds, pro design coolhead, CP pipes, plus 4 timing, 34 Pj with a drag port. I'm having problems with the left cylinder not working right. keep adjusting the float level and it will run great for a few weeks than no power again. which carb will I need for my set up ? sheerider11
Keep the dual carbs. Pj carbs are a pain to deal with. You just have to take time and get it set. The big problem comes from the idle and choke being the same knob. But if the cylinder just falls off, I think it's more then just throwing a new part at it and hoping it fixes itself. dcalsv02
I agree. I currently run a 2-1 setup and unfortunately the 2-1 kits just don't cut it unless you want slightly better bottom end. I will dyno my 2-1 setup before I switch to twin 35's because I have a manifold that not many people on here have, so I want to see how it compares. I know it won't be as good as the twin carb setup but it would be a good reference for this forum. Try to fix your setup. Or switch to pwk's for easier tuning.
