jack2012
The book says 24.1 but alot of people on here say 32.1 whats better and what is the performance differance?
Dahl87banshee
24.1 is just more rich. I have always ran 32.1 with no problem. It's a little more lean so maybe its a small power difference, but I don't think it would make a noticeable change. Just run whatever your bike was broke in with and have fun ::
rjdgriff
32:1 is what I run. 24:1 is very rich and not needed. Just run 32:
rjdgriff
You would even be ok to run 40:
KAMIKAZE
I run 32:1 with alot of mates doin the same And yes even a few running 40:
bansheesandrider
The better the oil, the less you need to run. I run Klotz R50 at 40:1 in my Banshees, have ran that way for over 20 years and have had NO problems, get pretty good life out of topends and everything is well lubed when I tear them down to inspect and freshen up.The less oil you have in there means it is less likely to foul spark plugs and the more fuel you have to make power. Nightmare
32:
BigRed350x
Depends on what fuel you're running and what kinda riding you do... I run 20:1 in methanol and 40:1 in gas with castor
WINDYCITYJOHN400
You mix to the oils requirements. If the oils says to use it at 20:1...then mix it at 20:1. If the oil says it can be mixed at 40:1...then mix at 40:1. If it's Amsoil and it says you can mix it at 100:1.........I'd think about that first.
