Well, the wait was definitely worth it, my parts showed up yesterday from stellar and i started the dissassembly process today to start the suspension overhaul.

Here's some pics of today's progress:

Lube them up with penetrating oil, and let sit for a while. Then give it a good couple whacks with a hammer while pushing down on the tie-rod ends. There is probably some rust in there.

If you are just putting new tie rods on, there is no need to take both the tie-rod ends out of the steering stem. Just thread new tie rods on and your golden. FYI!

here's a real good one, if you can't tell, the ball joint popped out, so i had a washer welded over it to hold it in, seems pretty safe

Damn nice parts. Get some pics of that stuff on the bike. Usually the tie rods and ballpoints will pop right out with a couple wacks of a bfh. Don't hit the actual tie rod you hit the side of the knuckle where the tapered shaft goes through it. Usually pop out after that. I never have used a puller or fork to remove them. Cars or quads.

Thanks guys, I was able to get the tie rod ends out with the puller, but i ended up just using a hammer on the ball joints.

Also I posted the pics correctly right? You guys can see them without having to click the links ?

What size are those Js? What did they cost and how long to get them?

My son missed out on some Js on Egay recently

The j's are +2 +1 and I paid around 500 for them and it took about 6 weeks to get them, but it woulda been like 5 weeks had they not had an issue with powder coat.

It was definitely worth the wait though these are awesome !
