erickson483
All I need to do to finish my motor is put the jugs on the case. I pull out my cosmetic base gaskets from my kit and put one on the left cylinder. Then I realize the one for the right cylinder is the same exact one as the left. The left gasket has rounded edges that curve downward into the case. If I put the right gasket on it would be upside down and the inside edges would curve up away from the case. I'm assuming I was accidentally given the wrong gasket. What do you think?
sheerider11
Can you flip it over? Mine came with the one piece gasket
erickson483
Lol fucking autocorrect is calling them "cosmetic" instead of cometic. But you guys get the point.
erickson483
It's weird. The inside edges of the gaskets are tapered and slightly curved. So when I flip it over one us curved down and the other is curved up. I could just be over thinking this but it's my first build and want to be sure
sheerider11
Fuck it. Flip that bitch over. If you torque it down correctly then it would seal.
