sheerider11
When I sit in place and hold in the clutch my bike moves. If I keep gassing it if gets worse and worse till it basically grabs and takes off. But I smoked my clutch completely out to nothing trying to get this figured out. So i get a new clutch I want to avoid this happening. I don't have grooves in my basket, the rod and ball aren't welded, I'm lost.

sheerider11
play with adjusting anything at all? Yeah. I'd back it all the way in on the perch and set it on the hub then would fine tune with the lever.

Larry's Shee
As with any vehicle, it's not good to sit there with the clutch disengaged for long periods. Check that the actuator arm and rod are not worn.

Larry's Shee
And now the rest of the story. I ASS U ME d you were sitting at the top of a dune waiting for your buddy Consider getting pressure plate and inner hub checked for warpage, check bushing and sleeve in basket, check steels for warpage. Check rod and actuator arm as mentioned, might be worn enough that it isn't disengaging enough. Sorry no one else has any ideas
