From the ground up

Recommended Posts

Sold my Banshee last year, bought a Harley broke my leg sold the harley, looking to to builild another Banshee. I am starting with nothing but a good set of engine cases. I am starting from the ground up. I want to build a fast reliable trail machine that will beat the 450's. First of all I always had trouble with my old tranny, second of all stroke it or not? I would appreciate any and all input.

a good running bolt on banshee that has been turned correctly will usally be enough to take care of most 450s out there as long as rider/weight/traction are somewhat equal!! a ported banshee is just on another lever.. and a ported 4mil done correctly is WOW!!.. i had both and loved each setup.. but when in doubt always go bigger!!lol if you decide to stick with the stock chassis there are tons of frames/rollers that can be picked up cheap! i would definetly upgade the stock shocks and aarms if you decide to go that route!

I am planning on a set of paul turner mid range, I really liked them on the last one. Can i get a trail machine to maintain running on alcohol otherwise I will probably go with twin 35PWK's like I had on the the last one. I was running 104 KLOTZ in it.
