I ordered one of JD's custom battery box. I have to say its looks amazing and fits the battery perfect. Only recommendation I can give is to make some sort of latch for the battery on top to keep it in the box. Would highly recommend for anyone thinking about doing the DC conversion. Well built and high quality. A+++++++ Thanks JD

Sweet!! Thanks for the pics bud, and I am sorry about the hold down feature. The first one I designed, the battery had a relief in the front where a set screw could be used (hence the slot). If you come up with a nifty hold down, using that slot, let me know. Moving forward I will come up with a beter hold down device.

Do you make them to fit in any other spot if you are running the air box, or is this the only option?

I am waiting for this as well, I have all my wiring and electric hooked up under the radiator. My current box is up front under the plastic & it's a POS, but hey I can't complain it was free. Is their any room in this box for foam padding or rubber insulation? I know those lead-acid batteries dont like any vibration.
