sheerider11
Ha your new here so the the abuse that's coming if you choose to stick around. The more paperwork he has to prove the work he says is done to it the better. Ride it, see if it shifts through all the gears, see if it shakes, listen to see if it pops, if he's cool bring a compression gauge and check that. sheerider11
ALRIGHT THANKS ALOT. I AM HOPING TO GO RIDE IT TONIGHT. It doesn't matter really tho, I would personally take it apart when I took it home. You don't know if this guy was a butcher and just made bolts fit. sidewayz
I just did what your asking about. Unless its a friend or it is built by someone reputable, your taking a chance no matter what. I baught my first banshee and didnt know what to look for. Ive had it a year and still havent had the coin to fix the motor. These things are not cheap...... I was warned but i diddnt believe my friends. Like said, it should start up in a few kicks. Go through all the gearson the gas. Grab the handle bars and wiggle it side to side. Listen for clunks and rattles. If it looks beat or rigged, it is. Ask for receipts for any work "claimed" to be done. Fuckers will lie to hell and back to sell something. Oh, its not worth shit without a title or a MCO...manufacturers certificate of origin.

Redneck Tractor Tech
i looked at it yesterday, it was in town so i couldnt ride it. the guy who has it is a close friend that i work with and our best tech at the dealership i work at. it started in less than 4 kicks the first time and the first after that. everything looks purdy good but i will know a little more when i ride it here at the dealership hopefully tomorrow. i will get some pics and post on here. after that. he is not asking very much for it, he has a couple of little kids and wants to get something with lesss power for them. he does not have a title or anything, i believe it was given to him in a trade of somesort.
