Jeremy_bell_banshee99 Posted March 25, 2012 Report Share Posted March 25, 2012 Looking on a 2 stroke tuning site for my dirt bike, it recommended i take a edge off the piston where the exhuast port is, if i did this to my banshee wouldnt it be about the same as the superstock piston? Surfrjag Posted March 26, 2012 Report Share Posted March 26, 2012 i am curiouis is the top ring is lowered on the superstock pistons to keep the top of the piston from pushing down onto the ring.. anyone able to do a side to side comparison? If you read it closely, this is a method for "Testing" a given port timing to see if it's what you want. Vito's pistons are made with the rings further down to accomadate the cut.
