Alba Racing adjustable CDI

Recommended Posts

I recently purchased an ALBA Racing CDI and was just wonder what y'all think bout them.

I know that there are guys on here that have been doing this way longer that I could have ever dreamed so they probably heard it, seen it, done it, know about it. If it was me, I would ask the wise men for their opinions first, and purchase second. Just my opinion. If you keep it, get rid of it, whatever, hope your bike turns out the way you want it.

idk why your so butt hurt, but they gave you an opinion, it is junk. honestly, i wouldnt use anything but the stock stuff, its the most reliable, and your not going to gain much from upgrading.

Wow.........(I think I heard a shot)

So, if you already bought it and your happy with it.......were you posting just to let us know?

I've heard many say stick with the stock CDI.

I've heard many say they like the DYNA, but it can go out in the blink of an eye for no reason. (But it IS programmable.)

I've even heard good things about guys using the MSD unit.

But I didn't know ALBA sold a CDI. Who's unit are they putting their stickers on now?

Can't believe "Pricks on here" would be too busy :yank: to help you out. <_<

Plus, this site has a search feature. (It's not always the best, but you could try it.)

And I'm not 100% sure......but I think if your posting here.....you would have some kind of access to the "Internet". <_<

I've heard it has this cool thing called "Google"....you might try it. It even brings up this post when you do an ALBA CDI search. ;)

Ok, from when I just posted that last response till now, I already found (In a google search) a guy who said he bought one and it failed within 5 hours. :o

Plus found out that Procom makes them for Alba.

So..........sounds like you spent $100 and better be ready to spend even more pretty soon.

It's the "Now Generation" thing. I want my answer now, I don't want to work for it, and you will tell me EXACTLY what jets I need to run WITHOUT spending time or money on a plug chop and get off the shout box and do it now, cause I'm brand new here and you guys are dicks for ignoring me and my total of 11 posts.

:jesterlaugh::jesterlaugh::jesterlaugh::jesterlaugh::jesterlaugh:

rant off

Well your first post did say we were all sucking each other off. First of all being a new guy is hard. No one knows you, know one likes you and know one knows you.

Sit down by the fire, grab a beer look around and see what's up. Lots of knowledge, good people and great deals man

Just be cool

No different than any other social situation, where and how do I fit in.

As to parts purchase, or anything really, the internet is a wonderfull tool. Even tho the search function sucks here, it doesn't prevent manually scrolling, or just reading ongoing threads , within less than a month you can learn what works and what don't
