balls2walls
.My 04 SHEE needed a top end due to low compression, when I took off the jugs there seems to be a fair amount of play side to side in the connecting rods and next to none up and down. I went to the shop to drop off my jugs and looked at the crank they had there, and there was hardly any play... How much is too much play? Do you measure it with a feeler gauge? registered user
normally i dont worry about the side play unless its overly excessive. up/down play, how much arc the small end swings and if the rod twists is mostly what i look at.
