Just purchased a nolink +12 arch swinger and 12.5 frt and 13.5 rear shaws and I'm planning on dragging 300' on sand. My ? Is the bike seems a little high in the rear and was wondering if the lowering kits are ok to use or are they an accident waiting to happen. Opinions needed, thanks bhq brothers.

On a no link rear you cant use a lowering block. The heigth adjustment is made with the shaw length. You can adjust it a bit lower by turning in the bottom heim if its adjusted out or by taking it out and taking the nut off the heim if it has one. The nut is only 1/2" wide but it will lower a no link +12 swingarm a bunch. Unfortuneately that will also change the compression and rebound dampening quite a bit just by having different geometry on the angle of the shock. Marvin shaw has revalved them for me for about $40 with shipping in the past if they were off by much.

Ok thanks, ill try that and see if if works. If not then they can revalve it for me. I'm still wondering if it will still be too high, I will post pics for yall to see. Tell me what yall think. Thanks

Took the nut off and adjusted all the way in and perfect when I sit my big ass on it.
