Thack82
I've added a few things to my Banshee lately that help me out in the woods that I wanted to show you guys. I worked from the OEM Plastic Heel Guard Design and had the guys at Qualex make me up a set of Aluminum Heel Guards. I searched the Internet for a couple of days trying to find a set of Nerf Bars and Heel Guards that looked good like the one I pasted on here that are in the small picture, but they didn't make anything for the Banshee that would help add stability to the plastic, keep your feet dry, and looked good. So I had this set made. They deflect water and mud thats being thrown off the tires onto your feet and the motor but still allow air to pass threw them when your moving at high speeds, they add Stability to your plastic and they look good. I went ahead and sold my old DG Fat Boy Drag Nerf Bars because they didn't help guide the rear of the quad away from the trees if you were on a hill and I bought a set of East Coast Nerf Bars ($72.00 Shipped) and they work a lot better. After I bought my Dyna-Tek Programmable CDI and mounted the Four Curve Switch under my seat where it would be protected I didn't have a spot to put my trail tool kit (Tire Plug Kit, Extra Set Of Spark Plugs, Multi-Wrench "8mm, 10mm, 12, 14mm" Allen Wrenches, Screw Drivers, Mini Chanel Locks and Mini Adjustable Wrench) So I bought a 400EX Frame Mounted Tool Holder and mounted it with a old Dura-Blue Lowering Mount we had laying around in the shop and attached it to the frame with a 12mm Bolt/Lock Nut.. It's worked out good even better than a tool kit under the seat IMO. I ran across a Air Defecting Radiator Scoop for a 1989 LT-250R on partshark.com when I was looking up a few parts for him when he started to do his LT-250R Woods Build. I figured a Banshee always needs all the cooling help it can get so I bought it ($16.00 Shipped) and mounted it under the plastic Nose Peace on mu Banshee. It works perfect it catches the air that passes threw the front scoops and channels it right through the Radiator. I'm still working on a Electric Fan set up that mounts behind the Radiator that doesn't restrict the natural designed air flow, I hope I have that up and going before summer. I'll let you guy's know when and if I get that figured out.

ClayAiken
I like the idea of the 400ex tool kit. Might have to try that.
Thack82
I like the idea of the 400ex tool kit. Might have to try that. The Old Polaris Scrambler's had a Similar set up on them, but their Canister was quit a bit bigger. Its big enough that you could put you Wallet, Cell Phone, Car Keys, and other important stuff in it to protect it from getting wet. I replaced the O-Ring on the one I bought just to insure it didn't leak. The angle that it ended up setting at works out better on the Banshee than it does on the 400EX because the content are not putting pressure on the cap while your riding. 87sheerips
PM me with info on how to get that (what looks to be) Yamaha banshee frame CAD model. That would be awesome and I could make a lot of cool stuff having that at my disposal

It would also hold a beer or two, ask me how I know!!! Sure would like to see some pics of that air scoop

Thack82
I will take a few pictures of the front end of my Banshee without the Front Plastic so the air channel scoop Air Scoop can be seen. I really don't post anything on BHQ anymore because I'm ridiculed over every upgrade I do. I get roasted by some of the other members and no one will come to my aid, so I just quit posting. I've spent a lot of money and the set up I have works good for me so I'm just going to leave it at that from now on. I will post a few pictures of my new upgraded updated improvements after I get them all on. I with I had the money this year to get Metal Tech Fabrication to build This Forged and Extruded Aluminum Frame that uses the Banshee Power Plant, Rear Swingarm/Suspension, Gas Tank, and Plastic and used 2009-2011 YFZ-450X Front Suspension and housed a 7" Thin-Line Radiator Cooling Fan but I couldn't justify the cost this year.
