I may do that tomorrow i didnt rough up nothing. just cleaned it good then applied 2-3 coats. i was going from gray to blue so it needed more coats. haha i might respray them again soon to get a fuller coat on and clean up some spots from when tipped it over about a month ago. do at least 2 coats. really go by look though. do more coats as to your liking. your gonna need like 3 cans to do front/ back plastics and underneath them too. I may do that tomorrow I sanded mine to get all scratches out. Then I put on 3 coats of color and then wet sanded. Fusion also has a Clear coat so mine has 2 coats of clear also.
