mike454 Posted March 15, 2012 Report Share Posted March 15, 2012 hey guys i have a 4 mill stock cylinder passion motor on alky and every time i make a pass by the time i get turned around its done loaded back up it runs great down the track it has a set of 38mm mikunis on it any ideas? Phelps Posted March 15, 2012 Report Share Posted March 15, 2012 mine loaded up under partial throttle. a simple needle change fixed it. i know jeff at f.a.s.t deals with keihin and was able to help me, but maybe he knows mikuni's as well. RadarRacing Posted March 16, 2012 Report Share Posted March 16, 2012 Thats pretty much normal for a bike to get dirty when riding slow. Did you lean out your needle if you think its excessive? camatv Posted March 16, 2012 Report Share Posted March 16, 2012 buy lectrons. sell the carbs you have.. naw you need to tune more BUT a LOT of motors cannot take off with a clean running alky tune they need to be fat on the bottom to work right. or the pipe heats up to much and causes issues.
