jlennon79
Ya my sleeves are bored to the max so I gotta go bigger I don't wanna resleeve and lose power! I'd like to get the port job done! If I get it done on that 392 kit with stock carbs will I need jets bigger than 270?
Dahl87banshee
Boring out your cylinder doesn't give you power. Resleave and have it ported

I'd like to get the port job done! If I get it done on that 392 kit with stock carbs will I need jets bigger than 270? i was running 280s in the summer with stock cylinders, fmf pipes/silencers, k&n air filter in airbox with no lid and no port job work at 1000ft above sea level. winter i bumped it up too 300's. im currently running 330's with a full dune port and a 4 mil crank, +4 timing. i need to rejet much higher like in the 370s due to the motor work. porting and having a bigger crank is the way to get the most h.p out of the banshee. of course with a bigger crank you need to mil the head or get a coolhead with domes to match. any sponsors on this site will get you in the right direction.
