Zwiser Posted March 15, 2012 Report Posted March 15, 2012 So I got this redcat shockwave from a buddy, and I can get it to start but it wont stay running for more then 30 seconds, and wont start back up unless I reprime it, then it does the same thing. So what should I do? I dont know much about these things and if you guys that do could fill me in on some basic info. Thanks! Quote

FullThrottle_06' Posted March 15, 2012 Report Posted March 15, 2012 Check to make sure your fuel lines aren't cracked or split. Also check and see if the hose's are good and snug on the carb. inlet and gas tank. Might be a simple fix ya never know. These little bastards are really tempermental Quote
Zwiser Posted March 15, 2012 Author Report Posted March 15, 2012 I tried turning the high speed screw, and now I cant get it to start at all. how can I tell if the compression is low? fuel lines aren't cracked and are snug on the fittings. But I did find a crack in the exhaust, could this cause any problems? Quote
max ertz Posted May 14, 2012 Report Posted May 14, 2012 (edited) check the glow plug . also carb setting high speed 2,5 turns out low speed at 1,0 to 1.5 out . check all fuel lines lookat the line from the pipe to the tank make sure its not cracked or broken . and yes a crack in the exhaust will not allow it to run . not enough back pressure . where in pa are you at . i lived on the east side of the state .
