sootman73
how do adjusting the needles height affect tuning in stock carbs? I had mine set at the second from top and moved it to the middle clip. the response in take off doubled. What would happen if i moved it another clip higher? special06shee
The higher you move the clip up the lower the needle goes onto the main. So you are leaning the mid range out. The lower you go with the clip the higher the needle is out of the main making for a richer mixture. You can keep playing around with clip heights until you find the best performance but i would only go one clip at a time!

Okay thanks I need to sync the carbs and mess with the needles to get the hesitation and stumbling cleared up right before it goes on pipe. its pretty annoying....
