Thedragonhimslf
Back on the forums after many years on a new name. I've owned two banshees prior to my newest one. I owned a 1999 banshee that started with gnarly pipes on a stock motor, then got a dyno port on a stock motor, and then moved to Toomy t-5s after boring it, porting and polishing it, milling the head, new reeds, and a new clutch. My other one, my 2005, was all stock. My newest bike can with DG pipes on a stock motor, and i HATE them. They are loud, the bottom end seems more non-existant than usual, and the keep me from running the gas on anything but reserve. Cheese pipes in my opinion. I'm concidering PT, pro circuit, toomy t-6, or some FMF fatty pipes. i plan on boring the bike, having the head milled or putting a cool head on ( would like advice on this as well, milling as opposed to cool heads), larger carbs, and some VF3 reeds. I've seen the dyno charts, but lets talk real world feel. What have you guys found in your experience? i'm riding gravel pits and trails, but i do not want to lose any of my top end as i also drag race the bike on an amatuer level. any input is greatly appreciated. Thanks guys.

WINDYCITYJOHN400
FMF Fatty's! Look in the dyno section at the post titled "random dyno chart and discussion" I bumped it to the top for you. LOTS of good into in the dyno chart. Everybody likes what they have and will tell you to run what they do....But get the FMF's and they will be perfect till you hit 70HP. They proved well on our dyno as well as in the drags on the dunes. Same pipe rocks The Badlands.

bansheesandrider
There are lots of good pipes depending on your riding style/location. But, if you are going to mod your motor, stay away from the T6s, go with the T5s if you want Toomeys. We have the Fattys on the wife's bike with a 2:1 aireaner and cut head and it works great for her, good bottom end, decent topend.

NickisGod
I like pt high revs. Ive rode almost every stock motor pipe configuration and like the pt the best. Personal preference though.
