erickson483
Does anyone have any experience using billet case savers to help protect your case from chain whack?
Infamous039
Dont use the billet one they break and torch the cases. Get the TM Design Case Saver, best one out there if you ask me.

locogato11283
Billet case savers transfer energy. You want a case saver that absorbs it. Go with one of the plastic ones.

Can you run one with a 15 tooth front? Also, do you remove the plastic thing held by 3 little screws when you install it or does the saver go over it? bigboybanshee
15 tooth is no problem. You might have to shave the case saver a little to accomodate it, but you won't have to remove much, if any material to fit a 15T sprocket. All the case savers I have seen go over the neutral switch cover. I also suggest staying away from billet, go with plastic or a "soft" material. Tyler is correct, you want it to absorb the impact, not transfer the energy.
jbooker82
On a plastic one I would just let the chain to the shaving and wearing. That way it is custom fit.
jonpeter0420
Does anyone have any experience using billet case savers to help protect your case from chain whack? I threw my chain, luckily had a case saver. It still cracked the case but it didn't crack all the way through, I was able to ride back to the truck. I think they're worth the 25 bucks. jonpeter0420
I put my TM Design Works case saver on top of a metal Cascade shift drum cover. This design looks legit, however a billet case saver did in fact save my case
