bball23
Ok so I bought the banshee as a project without exhausts and carburetors.... I recently put those on and it starts right up and has plenty of compression and idles pretty well but when I give it throttle it doesnt sound right and doesnt go in high rpms... The left carburetor with the choke leaks from the overflow and i cleaned them up and still does for some reason.. I dont know if it has something to do with carbs because also on that side the left cylinder didnt seem to be running at one point but then i switched the spark plugs and both worked ok but the throttle was still not good. I jetted the carbs to what the previous owner had that I bought the fmfs from so its not that.. I will post a video tomorrow some time of it running so that you all can better see what I mean and maybe help me out. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! Let us know, Adam carbs are stock 26mm, just jetted to 310 mains and 27.5 pilots. exhaust is fmf gold series the previous owner said they may have been bored over .50 but i cannot be sure... yes the carbs are synced I have tors on them but are not plugged in. And how do I check if its the parking brake sensor.? Again, I will make a video tomorrow so everyone can see and hear how its running. 11AGUY
had the same problem with mine... leaked all over my new driveway... the needle isn't seating properly, mine was stuck.. what i had to do was take the carb apart, pull the pin out that holds the float and apply a light coat of two stroke oil to the pin and put back together..... worked like a charm Ok so I bought the banshee as a project without exhausts and carburetors.... ticktock
All you have to do is unplug the small box under the gas tank on the left hand. It's actually in front of the tank but you can't miss it. Located just opposite of the coil. I disconnected all of the tors plugs and removed the extra wires Adam

Jereme6655
Are the carb slides in the correct way? The half moon cut out should be facing towards the air filter side of the bike.....amowt sounds like it could be what's causing that... ticktock
How is your cylinder compression? How are your reeds? Are both cylinders firing? I can't think of much else other than its electrical or fuel problems Adam
