Im thinking about getting a small school bus to take my junk out on the dunes, anyone know how good they get around out there?

I don't think it would get around very good but I think it would be funny as hell to see one out there. You should do it and hang some big ass rediculous flag out of the back of it.

if you want a buss for the dunes do it right, small lift maybe 37" tires, dana 60 front dana 70 dually in the rear, divorced np205 tcase and a chevy 454. be one hell of a road warrior and dune cruiser. a better engine would be cummins or dmax, better mileage and alot more HP upgrades

those busses posted above are way to big and look ugly as hell IMHO

I thought about this for a while... I think I would be way to impractical for my needs. I wanted to leave first few rows and gut the back with a ramp... Load the back up with all our bikes and crap.. Not having 4wd and in the event of a break down it would be too costly... I would look for an international with a dt466. Or a bluebird with a 3206..

And a bus would cost me minimal, I cut about 3-5 every week at least

I've never seen one at the dunes, I've only been once. I've seen a few conversions though. One just cut the back off and flat bedded for bikes. Saw another one that a guy repainted and made a nice camper out of. Put air on it and had some nice wheels. Always thought it would be cool to do.
