sheerider11
You can't get it out with a easy out ?
camatv
if the eccentric is completely broken off. then heat the case up with a small propane torch or a small mapp gas torch it wont take much if you smell locktight coming out het it a few times and let it cool down shouldnt need more than aabout a minute or so for each cycle. if no locktight heat it up for a lil bit probably 2 mins at most. and then drill it out in the center with a smaller drill bit than the bolt's threads most of the time you will break it loose and it will actually screw into the other sided of the case if i rember right. pop right out. Larry's Shee
Ya, you don't want to drill/tap to a larger size. The bolt that goes in there is off center (ecentric) to the threads for adjustment for shifter.
adamhamy
Damn you guys kick as%....that was fast.....whats an easy out? The bolt snapped in half......so heat the case and then drill a small Hole in bolt and screw it thru si it comes out the other side?

sheerider11
It's a left handed drill bit and things with left handed threads that bite the screw. You drill a hole in the middle going with the left handed threads and sometimes they will bite and UN screw the bolt. If not you drill the hole and you tap in the easy out with a hammer and you can back out the screw. They come matched with the drill bit and easy out on the kit. But some times its not that easy. camatv
if the hole dosent go through you can use a lefty. if the hole goes through and you ahve access to the other side i just use a std bit and screw them right out. it works nearly every time. lil heat and wala! but of course you have to have the cases split. if the cases arent split you cna try a lefty bit BUT id split them anyways to get all of it cleaned out for sure..
