Coolant Dripping...

I picked up my first banshee late last week, and I finally got around to riding it a few times and I noticed there is coolant dripping from the front. It looks like it's coming out of the hose that connects at the radiator cap. The previous owner has the hose zip tied down the frame in the front. I picked up a new radiator cap thinking that it might be bleeding off pressure and that doesn't seem to be the culprit. I haven't put an actual temperature gauge on the bike yet but I attached two heat stickers to the jugs and the highest reading I've got was about 171 (obviously the coolant would be hotter). It runs great, and isn't dumping a ton of coolant or anything I attached a bottle to the hose and I lost about a cup of coolant when I went out for a ride... I've noticed it dripping coolant before it even warms completely up. If I open the cap and let it idle I didn't notice any bubbles, coolant doesn't seem to really "flow" though unless I rev it?

I was told it has a billet impeller but I'm not sure... I've done some research on the issue and it seems to be semi-common... I don't think it's the rear overflow leaking simply because every time I've looked it's between the low and full line....I just don't want it to be overheating and I cause damage by not properly addressing the issue. The bike does have a cool head, and it says "stage iv" I'm not sure who makes it, perhaps it's a bad oring or? any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Did the previous owner remove the overflow bottle from under the seat? And are you filling the radiator to the top? If you are they will puke out coolant to the correct level in the radiator...

The reservoir is there, but I'm not sure if it's hooked up. I'll have to double check that. I am filling it up to the top though and have thought maybe it's just getting rid of the excess... I'll keep an eye on it I guess.

It's coming from the overflow hose where the radiator cap goes on. It appears the hose is zip tied down the front of the frame. I went out today and forgot to double check the coolant and the bike got warm fairly quick so I've decided the head has to come off so I can properly address this issue. I'm going to double check to ensure there is a billet water pump installed as the previous owner said... I'm also thinking of picking up a larger radiator, but that is not set in stone as it does not overheat as long as the coolant is topped off. I think I will pull the trinnity coolhead and check the orings... Is there anything specific I should be looking for while doing this? I've heard some bad things about these heads, should I just buy something else?

I'm also thinking of installing a temperature gauge, as the temp stickers aren't the most accurate thing in the world... any suggestions for that would also be greatly appreciated. I did have a trail tech installed awhile back on my 250r and it worked awesome... I also like the ESR temp gauge, I just don't like that I would have to lean over every time I wanted to check the temperature...

What do you guys think?
