andrew3160
No advantages other than looks and making your bike louder.
CruelSoul
Ok well I was reading that it gives you more low end torque on another forum and for loudness I am fine the way my bike is now
bansheesandrider
Ok well I was reading that it gives you more low end torque on another forum and for loudness I am fine the way my bike is now The general rule is smaller diameter or longer length gives you more torque or low end power and bigger diameter or shorter length gives you more high end power. Shorter silencers will make your bike louder and we don't need more people bitching about loud ATVs and closing riding areas.

This may be the case in the expansion chambers but the silencers on a 2 stroke are nothing more than a silencer. You will not see a difference in power at all.
