sleeper06
you need to tap a pulse line into the intake runner on the cylinder, the pump i used for a build was a 65l/hr black pump if i remmember the flow rate correctly. The carbs were pumper carbs set up with a diffrent seat assembly. There are plenty of people on here that run these and can give you more details.Someone dropped all the parts off and i installed them i beleive he ordered all his stuff from sudco
4mildkue
Damn that sounds complicated
n2otoofast4u
Not hard at all, but IMO if you can get away without a pump, DO IT.. Pumps are a pain in the ass. Just another thing to go wrong, just another part to have to hide, just another hose to run. If you can get away with a big needle/seat, a good pingel, and a good vent and supply the fuel DO IT.. What carbs are you trying to run and what motor?

bigboybanshee
41 on a 10mil dm If you run a guzzler and gut the gas cap you more than likely won't need a pump for that engine. I've been feeding a 10mil DM w/ 44 lectrons, billet bowls and a guzzler valve for 3 years, no pump, no issues. This is for 300' though. I'm also a big advocate of not running a pump if you don't have to...
n2otoofast4u
There are scimitars, cougars, and triple cougars out there that dont run pumps. Not that I would run a motor of that size without a pump, but a 10dm I would definately setup the carbs for gravity if your tank is in a factory location. 4mildkue
I wanna keep it simple as I can but if the pump is not needed then Im just going to go with the big bowls and the pingle again
bigboybanshee
I wanna keep it simple as I can but if the pump is not needed then Im just going to go with the big bowls and the pingle again I would recommend using a guzzler. Mine would make it through 300' but not much further, then again, my carbs are bigger than yours.

SlowerThanYou
Well I might have to because I run 1/8 and I don't want to lean it out A couple of us run 1/4 mile without a pump. I started with a pump & weaned myself off. You have to have everything right, but it's less hassle without one.

You have to have everything right, but it's less hassle without one. I noticed in a few of your videos your running gas. Are you running gas 1/4 with no pump or alky? I wish pavement was bigger around here because Id like to give it a shot. That being said I can offer much advise on whether a pump is gonna be needed in 660 or not. My first thought is yes, but if it we me, Id use big bowls (maybe even weld 2 together) big needle/seat, big vents, etc in an effort to not run the pump. But if you have to run a pump its not the end of the world. Just make sure the carbs are setup for it, use a good fuel line for the pulse (so it doesnt colapse) and go for it. Its not the end of the world. I would however carry a spare pump.

We started with a pump for about 150 runs & we carried two.
