Poolman
Hey Guy's, I would like to purchase a clear lexan stator cover to match the clear lexan clutch cover I recently bought. As I was doing my reserch I came across 2 that I liked. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- First One being this one: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Banshee-YFZ350-RZ350-Banshee-Trinity-Billet-See-Thru-Stator-Cover-Polished-Red-/350504173269?pt=Motors_ATV_Parts_Accessories&vxp=mtr&hash=item519bad3ed5 ____________________________________________________________________________________________________ Second One being this one: http://www.ebay.com/itm/MODQUAD-STATOR-COVER-SMOKE-W-FLAME-GUARD-YAMAHA-BANSHEE-/300659614388?pt=Motors_ATV_Parts_Accessories&vxp=mtr&hash=item4600b5a2b4 ____________________________________________________________________________________________________ Then I came across this one and it mentioned bearing support. It sounds great but it would not have a lexan clear lens cover. But then I started thinking what's more important. So here is the one that threw a monkey wrench into my thought process. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Banshee-3-piece-Stator-Cover-Bearing-Support-no-polish-/250887956166?pt=Motors_ATV_Parts_Accessories&vxp=mtr&hash=item3a6a1666c6 ____________________________________________________________________________________________________ So I ask you Guy's, which one should I get or would you get and why? Chariot is the way to go man. Contact Rootracing through a pm. He has the chariot parts. Just to clarify, bearing support is not needed for the average banshee. This was designed for the high HP motors. You can save money by going a different route unless you have a 10 mil +. They do look snazzy though. Poolman
Thank You Adam and Zilla, No I don't have 10 million dollars. And Yes I just have a typical banshee. I'm going to try and make my sig showing my mods. I'm still kinda new as you can tell so I don't know all the ins and outs of how things work on this forum quite yet. I'm sure I will become good though because I finally figured out The Banshee is my favorite Hobby. I think the stator cover does look good but really I want a stator cover with a lexan clear cover so it looks like I can continue looking in that direction. ticktock
Welcome then Check eBay for prices, good deals and so on. Purchase from site sponsors. That's how I do it. Troyzstang was looking at doing a group buy on some stator covers. Not sure on the pecan ones though. Adam

Poolman
a pecan cover would be bad ass. but on a serious note, i have heard that the trinity lexan cover does leak sometimes. Oh wow, Notes taken on that. What do you guy's think of this cover ? I think it looks pretty good/cool. http://www.ebay.com/itm/MODQUAD-STATOR-COVER-SMOKE-W-FLAME-GUARD-YAMAHA-BANSHEE-/390388239023?pt=Motors_ATV_Parts_Accessories&vxp=mtr&hash=item5ae4f3caaf So this one might leak ? http://www.ebay.com/itm/Banshee-YFZ350-RZ350-Banshee-Trinity-Billet-See-Thru-Stator-Cover-Polished-Red-/350504173269?pt=Motors_ATV_Parts_Accessories&vxp=mtr&hash=item519bad3ed5 Edited February 13, 2012 by Poolman
Poolman
that is just what I heard before, and since many people dont run those covers, it is hard to know if that is true. but personally, I would pick the mod quad, it looks better imo. but it really comes down to which will match your quad better. I agree with you. I like the mod quad better too. And it would match my quad better. I'll get some pictures of my bike after I get it back together. I'm pretty much going through the whole thing bolt by bolt getting it ready for the season. Jeff's got my cylinder's and they are on there way back to me. He did a .020 bore on them and putting weisco pro lites back in it.

I don't think any trail bike would need it. By the time you applied enough torque to the ground to actually stress the countershaft you would have already flipped over. JMO. I'm a washed up has been, but this guy knows what he's talking about! 99% of the people running a support don't need it because of HP reasons! I'm also in the market for a new stator cover to compliment the direct drive lock up cover and came across this one... However, I would get it powdercoated black instead of the crimson red. What I'm hoping is I can get it with the smoked lexan flywheel cover, although, it does have the same eight bolts as trinity's other cover... I was told at 100hp you will start having enough torque to cause the bearing to wear out relatively fast and the bearing support stopped that. Information was from someone I respect so I took it for what's its worth. Well I guess I was informed wrong. I could have gotten away 120$ cheaper.
