Blooddain
I pulled my clutch cover last night just to find out my clutch pretty much blew apart. Ruined my Hinson basket and blew my gears all over the place inside that cover. Looks like i will be replacing the basket and the main gear and the smaller gear that slides inside the bigger main gear. What is that gear called? I can replace the basket easy enough (although i think i may go with a different brand basket this time) but i am having a problem finding the gears i need to replace. There are numerous sites that sell gears, but it seems like they are all "straight cut gears" instead of the regular gears. I also noticed that the case has been damaged by parts flying around in there near the crank seal. Im hoping i can fix this without replacing the case. Any help on where i can get these gears would be greatly appriciated!

Called the guy i bought it from but he wont return my calls.

bansheesandrider
Make sure you replace the gears on the crank- it looks like shrapnel ran through there and if it did, it is going to knock when you get it running.
NickisGod
wow shit son, ive had some clutch detonation myself. that happen last year. not trying to jack ur post or anything but hey u caught my attention and i figgure u were in the market for a primary gear, i have the small one that goes to the crank. its yours just pay the shipping. i have a few odds and ends, unfortunately for u no baskets or stock clutch covers. if u ask around on the boards i bet someone will donate a stock clutch cover, most ppl discard them after they start putting $$ into there motor. good luck on your repairs
