troyzstang
First off I know this question has been asked many times. Please reply if you have facts to back up your advice My current set up is as follows * Trinity 2 into 1 with standard 35mm PWK * K & N pod filter * Pro Circuits * Adjustable Plate set at +4* * Aggressive trail port ( in progress) Pretty standard set up really. Now will a stock set of carbs be considered an improvement to this set Up? Thanks in advance for your input. Troy
Infamous039
I have ran 2in1 carb setup before and those things run hard but they don't pull the topend very long. I feel twin carbs have way more topend than the 2in1. If you just riding trails then you should be more than happy with the 2in1 carb setup. sprinklerman
Thats the exact setup my wifes bike runs and its fine for playing. Not a top-end duner/racer power ,but nice and zippy,,,if thats a good description??
Dicklez
I thought mine pulled hard too. I felt that I was running it out of gas on the topend. It would break up slightly going up hillclimbs. I went to twin 34 pjs and it pulled more up top. It could have just been setup. IDK. Theres guy who set them up real well. sprinklerman
I should clarify ,,i ran hers on stockers and it did pull better on the top 3/4 of RPM compared to the 2-1 intake. Its a touch more tame. but the bottom/mid was the same or more crisp. I did it for ease of use and easier thumb throttle for her.
dcalsv02
Cascade innovations makes a much better quality 2-1 manifold over trinity's. Im running that this season with a 35 pwk (new manifold this year, using the single 35 for 2 years now). Havent gotten to test it yet, but i switched to the single 35 from the stockers and the bottom and mid feels much better. If i was only riding trails, i would prefer the single over the stockers. BigRed350x
Ditch the 2into1 and get a real setup. That's 100% opinion, no factual basis whatsoever. lol

rubberneck
Look up posts by member snopsynski. I believe he posted dyno sheets at one point of single vs dual carb set ups. He had a single and after his tests went back to duals
ticktock
Hey Troy, I saw the post. I agree at wide open it feels like it is running out of gas. I purchased a billet bowl from Chariot through Rootracing. He is a good guy to deal with and his prices are better than their eBay store. Chariot also makes a better design. It uses te mikuni boot. If I stay single I am going to use that I will let you know my findings on my tweaked setup this weekend.

Did you ever sort out the 450 engine issue with that seller? Is your banshee up & running yet? Troy
